The mission of the New Point Pantry is to lighten the burden of food insecurity in the Des Moines Metro Area. Additionally, it is our intention that each family receive not only food for their physical hunger, but also the love of Jesus in order to feed their spiritual and emotional hunger. In order to do this each week, we need a committed team of people with a passion to serve.

Food Distribution- Help check-in families, deliver groceries to their cars, and pray with people (if they so desire) as they wait for their food.

Details:
* Serve a minimum of one Wednesday per month. (This can be flexible.)
* Arrive at by 1:15pm to help pack the cold bags for distribution.
* Distribution time is from 2:00-4:00 p.m. (with the busiest time from 2:00-3:00PM)
* Help check-in families.
* Deliver groceries to their cars
* Help organize supplies.
